She's not sure there's anything that can completely fill the void inside her, but Bob feels like a second chance.
She knows he's not innocent, that he has his own void to fill. Yet there's something about him that gives her hope. It's not naivety, though it comes across that way. She thinks maybe it's his genuineness.
Bob sincerely wants to help people, to be better. Yelena wants those things too and for some reason Bob makes her feel like it might be possible.
Maybe it's just that for the first time in a long time, she doesn't feel alone.
